What all makes a Slow PC

Slow pc or slow computer is first and foremost disease of any PC related problems. This problem has been existing every since computer was invented. In the age of single floppy and program used to write on floppy the slow PC or even before PC comes in the slow computer issues existed. Gradually as times elapsed and with advent of new technology there were thousands of new inventions and discoveries in field of computers. Even with semi conductor memories the slow PC issue was prevailed with the same intensity across the world. Now when the technology has drastically changed and we are on verge of nano-technology and cloud computing a slow PC problem still can be felt with the same seep and sometime with greater and bad way.

I have written many times before also about the slow PC issue and one thing I never forget to bring up that a slow computer or slow PC issue is not a specific reason but it is an outcome of collection of factors and reasons always. Such factors are Virus infections, spyware present in the PC, Trojan horse, worm or any other infections, also hardware may also be responsible for poor performance etc. I want to summarize few of the important factors that may be responsible for slow PC issue.

1. Any infection in the PC: - Virus is at top whenever we talk about factors that affect a PC and makes a PC slow. Virus not only creates slow PC issue but also generate several such problems like freezing of a computer, blue screen of death, unexpected shutting down of a PC etc.

2. No antivirus program installed in the PC: - If there is no antivirus program installed in the PC the infection chances of any PC increases by just double. A good antivirus program can prevent any infection that can cause harm to your PC. So it is highly recommended to use a good antivirus program so that you may protect your PC and fix pc errors

3. More than one antivirus programs are installed:- Using an antivirus program is good, however if you are suing more than one antivirus program this also can make a PC slow and other issues as well. So make sure you are not using more than one antivirus program at all.

4. Many or unneeded programs are installed:- If many programs especially when you are not using them, are installed in the PC they also create many problems such as occupying unnecessary space, and using CPU conflicting with each other etc. Uninstall if they are not needed now.

5. Poor hardware:- If you are using hardware that are not meeting requirement of the application or an OS running on them, in such cases a PC becomes slow. Use the updated or at least it is required by the programs is running in the PC.

6. Registry is corrupted/bloated: - Registry is core and indispensable part of any windows operating system. If a registry is corrupted it produces many problems in a PC. Slow PC is one of them. Apart from this if registry is not functioning well it also affects other standard functions and services of windows. So Fix registry is very important task for speedup any computer.
